Located on the southern shore of Lake General Carrera (Chelenko) in Chilean Patagonia, surrounded by glaciers, mountains, and expansive steppes, Allá Lejos was born. We venture into new horizons in global viticulture, allowing the distinctive environment to inspire and shape our wines.
Aromatic with notes of red fruits, lavender flowers, and underbrush. Fresh on the palate with pronounced acidity, angular tannins, a medium body, and a long finish.

Allá Lejos was born on the southern shore of Lake General Carrera (Chelenko), in Chilean Patagonia — a place shaped by glaciers, mountains, wind, and vast open steppe. It is a landscape that demands respect, patience, and a willingness to learn.
From the beginning, this was an exploration:
could fine wine be produced here, consistently, at this latitude?
At 46° South, each season tests that question. The climate is extreme. Harvest arrives early. Frost is always a possibility. Two weeks after picking, winter settles in. Every surviving vine carries a story of resilience.

Over time, these conditions revealed something essential. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay do not merely endure here — they express freshness, tension, and clarity shaped by cold nights, long daylight hours, and slow ripening. What began as an experiment became a working estate.
Allá Lejos produces limited quantities of wine by necessity, not by design choice. Nature sets the limits. Each vintage adds knowledge. Each decision is measured against what the land can sustain.

This is an agricultural adventure — but a proven one. Rooted in experience, guided by observation, and built with the intention to grow carefully, without losing integrity.
We created this site to share that story openly, and to invite a small number of individuals and hospitality partners who feel drawn to this place to take part in its next chapter.
Not simply to buy wine —
but to belong to a living estate at the edge of viticulture.
